and didn't get the kids their snack in time (yes, I know it is after 10 pm, but they both napped today and wanted a "midnight snack") ... because Kenna just came in and asked me if she could have a "beef lick". ??? What on earth is that??? Well, she had been shuffling around in the cabinet and found beef bullion cubes leftover from making french onion soup a while back and she though that would make a *perfect* snack. So i go out to see what the other one is doing ... Holden took out a fruit leather and spread jelly all down the length of it and it was hanging off he dining room table. Thankfully, both the fruit leather and jelly (which he doesn't even eat, by the way; he will ask me for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without jelly all the time!) were sticky enough that it all held together ;)
Joke of the day, courtesy of Holden, 4 1/2:
Why did the people cross the road?
Because the peanut butter jar was on that side!

So cute! I tagged you with 7 Things Meme....don't feel like you have to do it. Check out my site for the rules!
I have never heard of that before - I will have to get that done this weekend :)
OMG! Beef lick! That has me giggling (quietly so as not to wake the young'uns).
That girl has me forever cracking up. There is never a dull moment here. Both kids are just too funny. Her latest was during her pre-bed tirade the other night when she was yelling at me, princess and the pea style, that she was not going to sleep in her bed, she had to sleep in my bed because her bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and she hated it and it gave her DANDRUFF and a MULLET!! I told the little mullet-head to please go to bed ;)
